WARNING!! Some of our dashes require you to drill holes into your car. Please be sure to verify what is behind the area you are drilling to prevent damage to your car, or injury to yourself. Failure to do this could result in injury or death.

ALWAYS!! Wear proper safety equipment and personal protective gear when using hand and power tools.

Please read the installation instructions fully before beginning your project.

    1. If you have purchased our radio dash it is evident you plan to add electronics to your car. Automotive radios and speakers are designed to run on 12 volt electrical systems. Golf cars operate on a variety of voltages 36, 48, 72 volts etc. If you are not sure how to wire your new radio to your car with our dash please seek professional help to ensure a proper 12 volt hook up. (Failure to heed this advice could be very expensive.) If you plan to do the install yourself please disconnect the main power from your car while you are working.

    2. Drill out the rivets that hold your ignition plate onto your dash.

    3. Disconnect the ignition switch and any other item that may be installed on the panel. Also remove any light switches or gauges you may have installed onto the stock dash. (our dashes are designed with customizers

    4. Remove the cup holders.

    5. Remove the steering wheel from the car.

    6. Test fit the new dash onto the car. The dash was designed with the smallest possible hole for a snug fit around the steering column. If you have an aftermarket sleeve, wiring harness, horn, or turn signal mounted onto your car you may have to modify the hole for the steering column to allow for proper fit of the new dash onto your car.

    7. Modifying the stock dash for the radio. You will need to cut away a portion of the dash around the ball holder area to allow for clearance of the new radio you will be installing. Cut the left side of the ball holder all the way to the wall of the left glove box. You can see what you need to remove by sliding the dash into place and marking the stock dash with the radio opening of your new dash.(With the stock dash modified the hole in the new dash should line up closely with the hole you cut to allow room for the radio to slide into place.)

    8. You are now ready to finalize your install. There are three holes around the dash along the floor one on either side of the console and one inside the storage door. The dash can be installed using the supplied screws. For best results pre-drill a pilot hole for the hardware. (caution! Verify there is no wiring behind the area you want to drill.) with holes drilled, you can now bolt the dash into place.

    9. Now that the dash is hard mounted you are ready to install your radio and speakers. ( if you do not already have a radio and speakers see the fine products that we carry on our site)

    10. Please be sure to check and confirm that your sound system is installed properly and is hooked up to a 12 volt system before you restore the main power to your car. Failure to do this could result in ruining your new radio and speakers as well as causing electrical damage to your car or possibly bodily damage to yourself.

    11. With your electrical system double checked you are ready to hook up your main power and enjoy your new radio dash.

    12. Re-install your steering wheel at this time and you’re ready to roll.
